On September 25th, during a working visit to the Logoisk District, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko urged officials to pay special attention to the pace of sowing winter crops, sb.by reports
Upon arriving at the AMKODOR-LESMASH enterprise, the Head of State specifically asked the First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, Vasily Sysoev, “Have you completed the sowing?”
“70 percent done. The final deadline is October 5th,” the official responded.
“Before we talk about the forest, we need to understand that sowing must be done immediately. Not just promptly or quickly — but right now,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasised. “We probably have about a week of warm weather left for the seeds to take root. I understand the challenges like cyclones, rains, and so on, but come spring, there will be no excuses.”
