Lukashenko signed decree on crop insurance for 2024

On April 4th, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 131 On Insurance of Crops, Livestock and Poultry in 2024, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The document approved the list of agricultural crops, livestock and poultry, alongside insurance rates for their compulsory insurance with state support for 2024.

The document also approved the percentage of compensation for damage and the cost of replanting for 2024 in case of the death of crops, the percentage of compensation for damage because of loss (mortality), emergency slaughter (destruction) of livestock and poultry for this year.

It is aimed at providing insurance coverage for agricultural producers.
