Lukashenko, Putin commented on ‘plans to seize Europe’

At a meeting in the Kremlin with President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin called statements about plans by Russia and Belarus to attack the West nonsense, BelTA reports

"They are shouting that Lukashenko and Putin will seize Europe tomorrow. We have never discussed such plans that we want to capture someone. There are enough problems of our own," the Belarusian leader said.

Vladimir Putin noted in this regard, “The ruling circles need this nonsense to explain and justify their expenses for the war in Ukraine. That's it."

"And their insolvency," Aleksandr Lukashenko added.

"Expenses are above all. This is the main reason why this topic of some kind of aggressive policy on the part of Russia is being inflated,” Vladimir Putin said.
