In particular, the Head of State noted that the Kamchatka Krai is known for its unique marine resources. “It will be probably wise and profitable if we try to establish co-operation in this area.… We would like to try to import these products from you after all. We have a big deficit in this regard, so it would be very profitable. If you don't mind, our specialists will elaborate this issue. In order to remove several unnecessary intermediaries, as I have already said, we are also ready to work in this regard," he said.

Actually, the trade turnover between Belarus and the Kamchatka Krai is not large in absolute figures, but it has been growing dynamically in recent years – increasing by 176 percent lats year against the 2021 figures. Mutual trade rose by the same amount in January-November 2023, eventually exceeding $2m.

Belarus exports meat and dairy products, paints and varnishes, machinery and mechanical devices for special purposes to the Kamchatka Krai, while importing fish products, ferroalloys, agricultural machinery for soil preparation and tillage.
