In particular, the President emphasised, “Let’s make a deal that we will not be just listening to conversations and lectures from researchers, instead we will make decisions. Reach a consensus and make a concrete proposal. If there is a reasonable, measured proposal, the decision will be made in 24 hours."

During a seminar, the participants also objectively discussed comprehensive approaches to increase the survival rate of cattle. Specific proposals were made as well, including creating a centralised veterinary service in each region, centrally purchasing vaccines for every farm, involving the Healthcare Ministry’s  approaches for diagnosis of diseases in cattle.

After hearing different points of view, Aleksandr Lukashenko instructed the participants to develop concrete proposals and base regulatory documents on them.

“You know what to do, and how to do it. It’s time to buckle down and get to work. There must be executive discipline,” the President stated.
