The Head of State got acquainted with the work of the institution and the areas in which talented children study

As Director of the National Children’s Technopark Sergei Sachko reported, in order to enter here, pupils submit applications in absentia, then pass an interview in person and complete a test task.

Last year, 76 out of 84 eleventh-grade pupils who studied at the technopark entered Belarusian universities and colleges, including 69 pupils – in line with the profile of technopark training.

In 2023, in accordance with the new admission rules, 23 technopark graduates were enrolled in the university without entrance examinations on the recommendation of the technopark’s supervisory board. A total of 58 students received such recommendations.

Sergei Sachko also said that in the educational process, the institution focuses on working closely with the real sector of the economy and accompanying each graduate, together with universities, right up to the first place of work.

“Keep watch that these guys don’t disappear! These are unique youngsters!” the President underlined.

Addressing the Director of the National Children’s Technopark, Aleksandr Lukashenko asked him to take part in developing a mechanism for enrolling pupils in universities, “We need to work out the best option for both the youngsters and you.”
