Lukashenko inspecting Miory Rolling Mill
Belarus’ President is on a working trip to the Miory District of the Vitebsk Region, visiting a plant manufacturing sheet metal and tinplate: MMPZ-Group JSC
Aleksandr Lukashenko will be reported on the state of affairs at the enterprise and the measures taken to ensure its stable operation. The President will also see production lines of a sheet rolling shop and samples of products.
The Miory Rolling Mill (the trademark of Miory Steel) is the only manufacturer of electrolytic tinning tinplate and cold-rolled steel in Belarus. The plant was put into operation on December 24th, 2020. Its production capacities make it possible to manufacture up to 150,000 tonnes of tinplate annually. The company occupies a worthy place among manufacturers of similar products in the CIS, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
