Lukashenko highly appreciates Belarusian seeding machines

During his visit to Zhuravlinoe agricultural company in the Pruzhany District, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, inspected domestically-produced seeding machines, noting the importance of such work, even if at first the units slightly fail to meet the standards of the best world analogues

“We need to get away from imports, enabling you to independently decide at your level whether to buy a harvester or a seeding machine. But they should be only Belarus-made!” the Belarusian leader noted.

The President also paid attention to the issues of warranty service. An important task in this context is to increase the demands on manufacturers. Warranty maintenance of equipment must be provided for at least three years.

“Otherwise, we will never ensure the workload of our enterprises. They will be at a loss and stop their production,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

The conversation continued at the machinery maintenance facility of Zhuravlinoe JSC, where the President was introduced to how the technical possibility of repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery is ensured. Moreover, he was reported on the state of machinery maintenance facilities across the Brest Region as a whole and work to bring a number of them to the proper level. The Head of State assured that next year the region’s order for equipment would be fulfilled, but it is important to ensure safety and proper maintenance.

In particular, the discussion tackled the terms of operation of domestically-manufactured energy-intensive harvesters and tractors. The Head of State drew attention to ensuring the safety of expensive equipment. For example, harvesters work up to twenty years in best farms.

“The service life should be at least fifteen years,” Aleksandr Lukashenko set the task.

Speaking about this, the President addressed the villagers, “You should also control that maintenance is done on time, do not force this technique. If the machinery cannot go to the field, do not break it. Because if this tractor breaks down, then you need to give a quarter of your farm’s grain for repairs. Take care of your machinery! You have everything in your household for this. This farm is exemplary. It was created as a beacon in order to understand where to strive, even slightly overbuild.”
