Lukashenko congratulated Russian TV presenter Vladimir Soloviev on his 60th birthday

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Vladimir Soloviev, the host of socio-political programmes of the Rossiya 1 TV channel of the VGTRK group, on his 60th birthday, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

"Your principled views, talent for persuasion and deep understanding of reality serve as a source of truth for millions of people. In Belarus, you are known as a true patriot, for whom the interests of the Motherland, justice and the spiritual values of Slavic unity are the main guidelines in life and creativity," the congratulatory message reads.

"I am convinced that your public and journalistic activities will further contribute to strengthening the friendship of the fraternal peoples of Belarus and Russia," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

The Head of State wished Vladimir Soloviev good health, happiness and prosperity.
