Lukashenko congratulated Nazarbayev on his birthday and discussed situation in the region by phone
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev on his birthday. The day before, the Belarusian Head of State sent a telegram to the first President of Kazakhstan, and today a telephone conversation took place – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service
Aleksandr Lukashenko and Nursultan Nazarbayev also discussed the current state of affairs: the situation around Belarus and Kazakhstan and in the countries of the post-Soviet space. Nursultan Nazarbayev took a detailed interest in the situation in our region.
The first President of Kazakhstan addressed the warmest wishes to the Belarusian people.
The congratulatory telegram sent to Nursultan Nazarbayev contains wishes for strong health, prosperity, long and happy years of life.
“Large-scale political and socio-economic transformations of independent Kazakhstan, its formation as a modern state that has achieved significant success in the international arena, are inextricably linked with your name,” reads the congratulatory message.
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that it is difficult to overestimate the contribution of Nursultan Nazarbayev to the establishment of friendly and trusting relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan. “Mutual support and fruitful bilateral co-operation over the years have become the basis for the creation of integration associations in the Eurasian space and contributed to the sustainable development of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the President underlined.
