Lukashenko congratulated Military Academy personnel and veterans on anniversary

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the personnel and veterans of the Military Academy on its 70th anniversary, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

“The famous educational institution has preserved the best traditions, experience in training officers, and also its rich history,” the congratulatory message reads. “The Military Academy is now the leading higher educational establishment in independent Belarus that offers training for military personnel in a wide range of specialties – for the Armed Forces, other law enforcement agencies of our country and friendly states. Among its graduates there are many well-known statesmen, military leaders, scientists, diplomats, and athletes – and they are true patriots of the Fatherland."

The Head of State expressed confidence that the highly professional staff of the academy, enjoying a modern educational base and great intellectual potential, would write many more bright pages in the history of the Belarusian military school, which makes a significant contribution to ensuring the security of the state.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished all the veterans, command, teaching staff, students, cadets and civilian personnel of the Military Academy good health, happiness, peace, kindness and new successes in service, work and study.
