Lukashenko: Belarus-Nicaragua co-operation reaching qualitatively new level

On behalf of all Belarusians and himself, President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Nicaragua Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra and the fraternal people of this country on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Nicaragua is a reliable friend and a significant partner in the Latin American region for Belarus. It is important for us to maintain and strengthen contacts in order to jointly confront global challenges and threats, and contribute to building a multipolar and just world order to ensure the sustainable development of both states," the congratulatory message reads.

The President stressed that the co-operation between the two countries, based on trust and respect, is reaching a qualitatively new level.

The Head of State expressed confidence that the agreements reached during the visit of the representative Belarusian delegation to Managua in April 2024 laid a solid foundation for further fruitful interaction and will become a powerful impetus for the effective use of existing potential in economic, humanitarian and other areas of common interest.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished further success in public affairs to Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra, good health and happiness to him and his family, and peace and prosperity to the people of Nicaragua.
