Mr. Kubrakov expressed gratitude for the attention paid to the development of relations between Belarus and the UAE, emphasising the friendly nature of co-operation between the two countries.

Having considerable experience and a well-developed training system for law enforcement agencies of foreign countries, Belarus’ Interior Ministry is ready to assist in training personnel for law enforcement agencies of the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE diplomat thanked Mr. Kubrakov for the warm welcome and willingness to share the best practices, as well as for the support and close interaction. He also confirmed the participation of the UAE teams in an open tactical shooting tournament among OMON (Special Purpose Police Unit) operational combat groups, scheduled to be held in Belarus in June. The Interior Minister invited Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Al Musharrakh to attend the competition as an honorary guest.

“We are ready to deepen interaction with the UAE in various areas of law enforcement, including combating transnational crime, as well as in the areas of public and road safety, countering terrorism and extremism. This will certainly strengthen relations between our countries," Mr. Kubrakov stressed.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues, outlining ways for further co-operation.
