A solemn ceremony of delivering humanitarian aid to Cuba took place in Havana on August 20th, sb.by reports citing Belarus’ Foreign Ministry

The official ceremony on delivering the cargo was led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Cuba, Vitaly Borchuk, from of the Belarusian side and Director of the Cuban National Institute of Haematology and Immunology, Dr. Wilfredo Roque Garcia, from the Cuban side.
Authorised representatives of Cuba’s Healthcare Ministry, Foreign Trade and Investments Ministry, and Foreign Affairs Ministry, as well as the leadership and staff of the institute took part in the ceremony.
On behalf of the government and all Cuban people, Dr. Wilfredo Roque Garcia sincerely thanked fraternal Belarus for this gesture of goodwill and noted that the humanitarian aid provided by the Belarusian government, including 13 articles such as medicines, canned meat, and whole milk powder, is very timely and will significantly contribute to improving the epidemiological and food situation in Cuba
