Belarus, Cuba discussed bilateral military co-operation and agreed to develop interaction

The Chief of the General Staff of Belarus’ Armed Forces, First Deputy Defence Minister, Major General Pavel Muraveiko, and Roberto Legra Sotolongo, the Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of the Republic of Cuba, held talks at the Central House of Officers in Minsk as part of the delegations today, sb.by reports with reference to the Telegram channel of Belarus’ Defence Ministry

"The parties discussed the current state of bilateral military co-operation and reached agreements on the development of interaction on issues of mutual interest," the source informed.

After the talks, the representatives of the leadership of the military departments of Belarus and Cuba paid tribute to those who died during the Great Patriotic War and laid flowers at the monument on Victory Square in Minsk.

As reported, Roberto Legra Sotolongo is also scheduled to meet with Belarus’ Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, later today.
