Belarus and Oman intend to open embassies in Muscat and Minsk, following talks between President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman, BelTA reports

“Mr President, yesterday, you proposed exchanging embassies in Minsk and Muscat. We welcome this,” the Sultan of Oman stated.
In this regard, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted, “We’ve made the decision. And we will definitely fulfil this plan. It is quite pragmatic. Not because we are old friends — but because it is pragmatic. We are launching serious trade and economic co-operation. And here, the ambassadors are our drivers, the engines of our co-operation.”
