AMKODOR shipped initial batch of heavy equipment to Nicaragua
The AMKODOR Holding has shipped the initial batch of heavy equipment — 16 loaders for construction industry — to the Republic of Nicaragua, the press centre of the enterprise reports
“The AMKODOR Holding has shipped the first batch of special equipment to the Republic of Nicaragua as a part of the implementation of contracts signed in 2024. The special event was held at the site of AMKODOR JSC — the Managing Company of the Holding,” the press centre informed. “Mauricio Sebastián Aguilar Díaz, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Nicaragua, received the heavy equipment shipment.”
The enterprise specified that it had shipped 12 units of the AMKODOR 211 skid steer loaders and 4 units of the AMKODOR 332C4 wheel loaders to the partners from Nicaragua within the initial shipment.
“These loaders have proven themselves in operation in different climatic and manufacturing environments and will be used at the transport and construction infrastructure objects in Nicaragua," the AMKODOR Holding added.
The contract between the AMKODOR Holding and the Republic of Nicaragua stipulates stage-by-stage shipment of the heavy equipment until 2027. The supply of a wide range of machines is planned, including: forklifts, motor graders, bulldozers, rollers and other types of road-building and municipal equipment.
“The implementation of this contract is the AMKODOR’s active export strategy, a testament of the great confidence in the quality of Belarusian heavy equipment from the foreign partners,” the enterprise stated.
The history of the AMKODOR Holding begins in 1927. The first special-purpose equipment — the KM-800 earthmoving machine – was produced in 1951 at the future lead plant — the Udarnik plant. In 1991, AMKODOR JSC was established on the foundations of the Udarnik plant by transforming the Minsk Research and Production Association of the Road Mechanical Engineering. At present, the holding of the same name unites 30 enterprises, including 22 plants. The holding's enterprises are situated in the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and other CIS countries.
