2nd Games of Future will be held in 2025
The second Games of the Future will be held outside Russia in 2025 – as stated by the head of the competition, Igor Stolyarov, TASS reports
“And they will definitely take place on the territory of another country. We will hold them once a year, and as for the host country, follow the news,” the head of the competition added.
During the opening ceremony of the Games of the Future, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed their desire to host the competition in the coming years.
The first Games of the Future are held in Kazan from February 21st to March 3rd. The main competition programme comprises 16 disciplines, with five more included in the extended programme. Most of them combine elements of esports and traditional sports. More than 2,000 participants from 107 countries will take part in the competition.
