Minsk resident Aleksei Yanushevsky was called the second best Quake 4 gamer in the world at the ESWC 2006
Paris, the capital city of France, held the Electronic Sports World Cup 2006 to gather the best players of the world representing 60 countries, including Belarus. The 16-year-old Belarusian Quake 4 enthusiast Aleksei Yanushevsky was second only to a representative of the host country losing the final 1 to 2. This is the top achievement of Belarusians in electronic sports since they first participated in tournaments of the kind in 2004.
