With a total of 4,592 points, our crew ranked second, 28 points behind the winning Finnish team, with Estonia in third position. Belarus was represented by Anatoly Andron, Victor Ganchuk and Alexander Sugako, coached by Nikolay Pototsky.

In the individual overall standings, first and second places went to world champions Vesa Kurki and Jukka Peramaki, from Finland. Anatoly Andron did best within the Belarusian team, just three points behind the silver medallist. Alexander Sugako was placed fifth and Victor Ganchuk 14th, of 37 professional wood cutters from Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Belarus, including six former champions.

The Bellesbumprom Concern team comprises the very best of our professional forestry workers. A month ago, in early June, they brought home a silver medal from the Estonian Open Wood Cutting Championship.
