Instaurators are restoring the unique monumental painting of Minsk Peter and Paul Cathedral
They will have to renew the ancient mural paintings, fix the fragments of frescos and restore the lost elements. Specialists will also clean wall-painting from stains and soot and renovate the architectural stucco dйcor of the cathedral. The Peter and Paul Cathedral is the most ancient cultural monument of the country. It was founded in 1612 and has been rebuilt several times. The cathedral was closed in the Soviet times and reopened for services in 1991.
