Fans are delighted with Zhodino’s Torpedo-BelAZ, thanks to an unexpected win away, against Hungary’s Debrecen, a strong rival. In the second minute, Tibor Tisza scored for Hungary but, twenty minutes later, Torpedo newcomer Sergey Zaginailov sent a robust goal into the rival’s net, equalising the score. Later, just two minutes before the whistle, Yevgeny Klopotsky caught the goalkeeper off balance, to bring the result to 1:2.
Minsk’s Dinamo drew at home against Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Athletic (1:1), with Vladimir Korytko scoring in the 25th minute, and Chris Fagan doing the same in the 54th minute.
Meanwhile, in Soligorsk, the Shakhtyor match against Slovenia’s Domzale ended in a draw. Belarusian defender Nikola Ignjatijević opened the score in the 35th minute, while Dejan Trajkovski restored the status quo in the 52nd.
