The guests from the Russian capital city were speaking about their project and significance of national cultural and educational programs (70% of Muscovites were not born in Moscow), took part in roundtable meetings, one of which was held in the Minsk House of Mercy. The rich experience of Moscow colleagues is especially useful, as Belarus considers opening its own center of nationalities.
Minsk also hosted the international scientific conference “Christian Ethics of Solidarity Against Violence” organized by the Christian educational center named after Cyril and Methodius and Institute of religious dialogue and interdenominational communications under the Synod of the Belarusian Orthodox Church. Taking part in the forum were representatives of scientific elite and religious figures of the main confessions and traditional religions: Orthodox Christians, Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, Judaists and Moslems from Belarus, the CIS and Western Europe.
