Belarusian tennis player Alexandra Sasnovich nominated for Fed Cup Heart Award, bestowed upon female athletes showing exceptional courage on court and outstanding commitment to their team during Fed Cup
Ms. Sasnovich was nominated for the award for her match against the national squad of Canada, in the first leg of World Group II. The tennis player took three points, winning two singles matches and one doubles, enabling our team to qualify for the play-offs of the Fed Cup World Group.
Alongside Alexandra, several others are also nominated: Sweden’s Belinda Bencic, Dutch Richel Hogenkamp, Czech Karolina Pliskova, Ukrainian Kateryna Bondarneko, Belgian Alison van Uytvanck, Argentinean Nadia Podoroska, Paraguay’s Montserrat Gonzalez and two Taiwanese players — Su-Wei Hsieh and Bunyawi Thamchaiwat.
