Seven issues added to agenda of Union State Supreme State Council upcoming meeting

Seven issues have been included in the agenda for the upcoming meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, sb.by reports with reference to the website of the Union State Standing Committee

The Standing Committee said in a statement that a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State will be held in Moscow on February 26th. It is planned that the Supreme State Council will review the main directions for implementing the provisions of the Union State Treaty. The issue of organising and developing cross-border suburban passenger rail services between the adjacent border territories of the Russian Federation and the regions of the Republic of Belarus is set to be finalised.

Decisions are expected to be made regarding the establishment of the Union State Committee on Standardisation and Quality, as well as the awarding of the Union State prizes in literature and art for 2025-2026. Mutual support and co-operation in the field of international justice are also planned to be discussed.

Additionally, the agenda includes key issues for the Union State Supreme State Council meetings in 2026 and the implementation of the Supreme State Council’s decisions.
