Welcoming the FAO delegation, the Head of State remarked, “You are not strangers to us, especially the representative from China. As an international-level official, there is much to discuss today. Your visit to Belarus is likely no coincidence, given that our country plays a crucial role in global food supply. You are well aware of our capabilities and policies regarding food production, technologies, and feeding people worldwide. We have a highly developed agricultural sector and manufacture the full range of necessary agricultural machinery. Most importantly, we currently liaise with countries that require agricultural technologies. We not only export food to these countries but also do everything possible to help them and their citizens produce agricultural products locally. We provide training both there and here in Belarus and have made significant progress in food production and ensuring food security for citizens, e.g., in Africa.”
