As reported by TASS, Mr. Oreshkin stated, “At present, BRICS countries make up half of the world’s economic growth, whereas the G7’s share is under 20 percent. This means that those who once led the world and set the standards for development felt secure. Now, they have lost that influence, leading to anxiety, restlessness, and the imposition of sanctions. This situation disrupts the entire world, and we observe that all countries are functioning amid these circumstances.”

The 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is being held from June 3rd to 6th, attracting over 20,000 participants from numerous countries. The forum’s agenda features more than 300 business events.
