The construction of the Chinese-Belarusian Great Stone Industrial Park proceeds ahead of schedule — as noted by Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister, Anatoly Kalinin, on his recent visit to the site

According to Mr. Kalinin, the Park is being built quickly, efficiently and with the highest quality standards. He pointed out that some of the facilities that, at the beginning of the year were only on paper, have now entered the final stage of construction.

“The Industrial Park is growing at a rapid pace. Our Chinese partners are completing the construction work ahead of schedule. In general, it is proceeding twice as fast as planned. Belarusian construction workers and subcontractors are contributing to this.”

The Deputy Prime Minister believes that in the future, the work on the Park will have considerable influence on the Belarusian economy. The Government also expects that the investment project will be a significant source of revenue for the state budget.
