Foreigners coming to Belarus are mostly keen on tours to sites registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List

Foreigners are mostly attracted to the sites under the patronage of the UNESCO. These include the Belovezhskaya Pushcha, Mir Castle, the Architectural, Residential and Cultural Complex of the Radziwill Family at Nesvizh, and the Struve Geodetic Arc points. These sites have become known to a wide circle of potential tourists worldwide thanks to their inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List. As a rule, first-time visitors to Belarus do not go deep into the country and start with the world-known sites. The majority of tourists come to Belarus through Minsk National Airport, and most of them order excursions both on preplanned routes and within the Belarusian capital.

Today, Belarus offers more than 1,500 tourist routes, which include pedestrian, bus, bus-pedestrian, cycling, water and aero-excursions. New and renewed war and history excursions have topped the popularity this year.
