Next year the Nesvizh National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve and French Chateau museums intend to exchange a collection of exhibits for temporary exhibition

The visit of a delegation from the Nesvizh Museum to France headed by the Director Sergey Klimov prompted the decision to exchange cultural treasures for an exhibition. Representatives of the Belarusian museum visited Château de Chambord, Château de Rochecotte, Château de Montrésor and Château de Chantilly castles, where negotiations were held. Agreements about the exchange of exhibits and allocation of expert advice for the displays were reached.

Meetings with the great-granddaughters of Maria Dorota de Castellane Radziwill were held. The Nesvizh Museum-Reserve received a book from the Château de Rochecotte.

The visit of the Belarusian delegation was organised with the support of the Belarusian Embassy in France, the Belarusian artist Irina Kotova, who is living in France, and the French writer Christophe Levallois, who is working on a biography of Maria de Castellane Radziwill. The biography will be published by the Nesvizh Museum in 2015.
