Remarkable beauty of spring

The Day of Women is celebrated in the beginning of spring. By tradition. If there is no such a holiday, it would be worth devising it, because spring is not only awakening of nature. It brings expectations and hopes: life continues and attracts us by its unexpected contents
The Day of Women is celebrated in the beginning of spring. By tradition. If there is no such a holiday, it would be worth devising it, because spring is not only awakening of nature. It brings expectations and hopes: life continues and attracts us by its unexpected contents.

Women are symbols of life. The chronological coincidence in connection to the holiday, which is celebrated in the first spring month, is not occasional. Spring, women, flowers — one associative line, which unites meaningful life dialectics, makes the guests to look on casual things philosophically. And sometimes to notice and see an interesting and important singularity in something usual.

Let’s take some piece of information from this issue of the magazine, named “To have a rest and to heal? You are welcome!” It appears from this information, that Belarus possesses overabundance: nearly half of all mineral water in Europe is situated in its depths. It is now wonder, that Europeans correspondingly evaluate native corners of savage scenery. Herefrom comes a wish of foreign guests to strengthen their health exactly in Belarus. A fact, recollected by the author of correspondence, strikes: one of the German citizens visited Belarusian sanatoriums 17 times during several recent years!

Specialists predict that this year can become a record one for the country by the number of foreigners, planning to visit Belarus for having a rest and healing. Well, there are many interesting places here for the guests. The National Park “Belovezhskaya puscha” is worth a lot. Besides, the international jury awarded “Belovezhskaya puscha” with a golden medal twice during recent two years. The National Park received the highest award for preservation of a unique natural complex, for ecological enlightening of people, for development of ecotourism as a healthy life style.

We shall preserve beauty, — this is not an axiom, but the truth. As well as everything, what serves for the benefit of a man, a society, a state. In this issue of the magazine we touch upon a delicate ground of construction of a nuclear power plant in the country. As it is known, a political decision on the construction of this plant has already been accepted. Unfortunately, there is no other alternative to provide enough energy on the scale of the state. Exploitation launch of the first energetic block of the Belarusian nuclear power plant is planned for 2016, now the preparation works are in progress. Delicacy of the national atomic energetics development lies in the fact, that the most important accent in this responsible matter is made on safety, safety and again safety of the whole project.

“The main criteria — reliability and safety” — the issue material, where professionals speak about constituents of safe atomic energetics. Agree, this topic is very relevant. Thus, the Belarusian nation is very sensitive to atomic energetics, because our country suffered more than the others from the disaster at Chernobyl nuclear power plant. That is why it is a priori considered, that the station, which will be constructed in Belarus, shall be the most modern and the safest.

Yes, today there is no alternative to a nuclear power plant. But those who know claim, that in the future energetics will give place to hydrogen energy — even more technological. Besides, Belarusian scientists have already been carrying out an active work in this direction. As well as in the sphere of usage of biological resources, approves the author of the next publication named “Biological kilowatts shine rather tangibly”. The sense of the article is to adopt experience, which allows providing effective economy functioning even if the country doesn’t possess enough supply of oil and gas.

Let’s return to beauty, because we started exactly from this notion. How did our ancestors look like thousands of years ago? It seems, that an opinion of the anthropologist will be interesting. As well as the answer to the question, how will Belarusian people look like in one hundred years?

Then you need to read an article “To see future, having looked at the past”. As well as other articles in this issue of the magazine. We hope, that they will be interesting to you.
