Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Anatoly Rubinov“The President of Turkey said that he accepts an invitation and is going to come to Belarus on an official visit,” said Mr. Rubinov. He added that the Turkish Head of State highly praises Turkey-Belarus relations, including the level of trust between our countries.

The meeting tackled co-operation across economic and political areas, with Mr. Rubinov explaining, “It showed a convergence of views on many issues, including international terrorism. Moreover, we share a great desire to strengthen and enhance collaboration.”

Interaction within the Eurasian European Union was high on the agenda. Mr. Rubinov emphasised Turkey’s interest in Belarus as a reliable partner for promoting Turkish goods, investments and services to this huge market. He believes that the opportunities are very promising. The issue of increasing the frequency of flights between Belarus and Turkey also came under discussion, in light of the existing visa-free regime.
