Dinamo Minsk hockey players won the third international Ruslan Salei Memorial Tournament which was held in Minsk-Arena

bisons.pngDinamo Minsk, KHL Sochi club novices and also Neman Grodno and the national team, made up of players of the internal competition, took part in the tournament.

In order to win the event, the Dinamo players just needed to beat the national team of Belarus clubs in at least overtime or on bullets, but the ‘Bisons’ exceeded the plan and achieved victory with an emphatic 3:0 victory during regular time.

In the first match of the final game day, debutant players from KHL Sochi, defeated the operating champions of Belarus — Neman Grodno with a whitewash, and led the table until the last match. However as a result, Sochi players ended up second.

The winners of the third Ruslan Salei Tournament, Dinamo Minsk, also defeated Sochi (2:1, in overtime) and Neman (5:1).

The best players of the tournament were: goalkeeper — Lars Haugen (Dinamo Minsk), defender — Nikita Shchitov (HC Sochi), forward — Alexander Materukhin (national team of Belarus’ clubs). The Dinamo defender, Yevgeny Lisovets, became the best young player.
