Maria Burani-Procaccini: “…Open a united front in Europe”

Strengthening and improvement of inter-parliament relations was the primary topic of meeting with Parliamentary delegation of Italy, held in Republic Council
As Maria Burani-Procaccini, head of Italian delegation and chairman of Parliamentary commission on children affairs, stated, Belarusian and Italian parliamentarians “must open a united front in Europe.” The Italian party also gives higher priority to cooperation development in the realm of humanitarian actions. In particular, Italy is always ready to help Belarusian children, especially those affected by Chernobyl accident, emphasized Mrs. Burani-Procaccini. Meeting participants also considered the question of procedure simplification in adoption of Belarusian orphans by Italian citizens.

Nikolai Cherginets, Chairman at standing commission on international affairs and national security of Republic Council of the Republic of Belarus, supported the initiative of his Italian colleagues on behalf of Belarusian party and expressed his cordial gratitude for help in health improving of Belarusian children.
