Acting in the spirit of common approaches of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation and taking into consideration repeated statements by the USA and the European Union regarding economic restrictions against the Republic of Belarus, the presidents of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation confirm that economic pressure or coercion is unacceptable in international relations.
Such measures create artificial barriers to trade, and unjustified obstacles to co-operation between economic entities, encroaching upon the legitimate rights of the economic security of states, threatening efficient and mutually beneficial co-operation and integration on the Eurasian continent. This will primarily have a negative impact on ordinary people.
The presidents of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation are strongly convinced that only dialogue based on equality and respect can resolve international disputes. They condemn all actions impeding such dialogue.
