At the junction of the borders of Belarus, Russia and Latvia, at the international Be-La-Rus youth camp, the topic of ‘Youth and Politics’ has come under discussion for the first time, as noted by the First Secretary of the Belarusian Republican Youth union’s Central Committee, Andrei Belyakov. He notes, “We are discussing an important topic in the format of international partnership. We’ll offer our colleagues from other countries ‘open dialogue’, involving parliamentary candidates, young people and all interested social classes. It’s very important that we use this format to unite us all, in a clear and democratic manner.”
