Catholics of Belarus gather in Budslav from July 1st-2nd, to annually honour the Budslav Mother of God icon (which is among the most venerable in the country). As the Belarusian Catholic Church tells us, this year, the 25th anniversary of the revival of the Minsk-Mogilev Metropolitan is being celebrated. Solemn festivities will include several services, with Cardinal Christoph Schönborn in attendance and a procession with a reproduction of the Budslav Mother of God icon. On the night of July 1st to 2nd, a youth camp programme is scheduled.
