Discussing prospects for economic contacts
The Ambassador of Belarus to Hungary, Alexander Khainovsky, has joined the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Levente Magyar, in discussing how best to step up economic interaction between our countries
The two looked at the implementation of agreements reached during the 5th session of the Belarusian-Hungarian Inter-governmental Commission on Economic Co-operation, held in Minsk in October 2014, and discussed prospects for advancing credit, investment and project interaction.
Trade in commodities and services has grown pleasingly this year, helped by the launch of a direct flight between Minsk and Budapest; this has helped development of interpersonal and official contacts, as well as interbank co-operation. They also talked over problems regarding interaction with the European Union, within the framework of international organisations.
