Belarus is one of the few countries boasting success at Junior Eurovision, having taken part since it was first organised. It boasts two victories: Ksenia Sitnik in 2005 and Alexey Zhgalkovich in 2007. In 2006, Andrey Kunets came second while, in 2010, Lidia Zabolotskaya, finished third. In 2013, Ilya Volkov achieved the same result.
