International financial centre to be constructed in Minsk
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has signed a Decree ‘On the Implementation of an Experimental Multi-Purpose Complex Minsk-Mir Investment Project’. Work is to begin as soon as possible, with completion by 2027, incorporating an international financial centre, social and business buildings, residential accommodation, and the necessary engineering, transport and social infrastructure.
The international financial centre is to take a leading position on the financial services market, and its establishment is set to create around 27,000 new jobs.
