Zelenskyy’s Office against freezing of Ukrainian conflict
Mykhailo Podolyak, the Adviser to the Head of the Office of President of Ukraine, said any attempt to freeze the conflict on the territory of Ukraine and stop fighting would mean an unfinished war in Europe, RIA Novosti reports
“Any attempt to freeze the conflict, transfer it to a prolonged format or cease fire will mean only the presence of an unfinished war smouldering in the heart of Europe, and the constant erosion of the foundations of global security,” Mr. Podolyak posted in his Twitter account.
Earlier, the US White House National Security Council Co-ordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby, pointed to the US concern that Chinese President Xi Jinping is using his visit to Moscow to intensify attempts to achieve a truce in Ukraine, which is not welcomed in Washington.
