The Polish Armed Forces Operational Command reported on its X account, “We inform that Polish and allied aircraft have been activated in Polish airspace, which may lead to increased noise levels, especially in the south-eastern part of the country. There is an increased activity of Russia’s long-range aviation.”

The Polish Armed Forces have repeatedly resorted to this measure over the past half a month. On March 24th, the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command reported a violation of the republic's airspace on the border with Ukraine early in the morning of the same day. A version was voiced that the object flew into Polish airspace near the settlement of Oserdów in the Lublin Voivodeship on the border with Ukraine and left it after 39 seconds. In its statement, the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command insisted that it was a Russian cruise missile, but did not provide evidence.
