Lukashenko to pay working visit to Russian Federation on May 8th-9th

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation on May 8th-9th, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

On May 8th, the Head of State will take part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow. This will be a jubilee summit, since ten years have passed since the signing of the EAEU Treaty in May. The event will be held in a narrow and expanded format, and Aleksandr Lukashenko is expected to outline Belarus' position on the main issues on the agenda in his speech, also speaking about the prospects for further development of Eurasian integration. 

In the morning of May 9th, Aleksandr Lukashenko, along with other invited leaders, will attend a military parade on Red Square in commemoration of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The President of Belarus will also take part in a flower-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
