Lukashenko: joining forces with Venezuela will enable us to efficiently counteract West’s destructive policy
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent Independence Day greetings to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and the people of this country – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Thanks to the adopted decisions on the ‘reset’ of bilateral relations, the interstate contacts between Minsk and Caracas have significantly intensified. Combining efforts will enable us to efficiently resist the destructive policy of the West and ensure sustainable development for our states in the current difficult conditions. I believe that this is a very timely step, taking into account the global challenges that our countries have faced recently,” reads the congratulatory message.
The Head of State stressed that Belarus is ready to continue strengthening friendship with Venezuela through the expansion of political, trade-economic, sci-tech, humanitarian, military and cultural co-operation.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Nicolas Maduro strong health and longevity, and the Venezuelan people – peace and prosperity.
