Lukashenko instructed to develop reliable means of communication for military
The President of Belarus today approved the heads of enterprises in the system of the military-industrial complex. One of them is Nikolai Baligatov, Director of AGAT-Control Systems – Managing Company of Geoinformation Control Systems Holding.
The Head of State asked how the communication means manufactured by the company work. Aleksandr Lukashenko explained that his question is not accidental, “I am asking this question taking into account the situation in Ukraine. There are a lot of problems there, including communication.”
“Our communication is not extinguished today by electronic warfare means, we have transient frequencies, and our communication works stably with interference suppression,” Nikolai Baligatov reported.
“That is, everything is good here and we can hope that no communication interference will interrupt? asked Aleksandr Lukashenko.
“I can say with confidence that the command and control of the troops will be provided with our technical means,” assured the new head of the enterprise.
In this regard, the Belarusian leader added, “Please, check all of it 1,000 times. Try to jam them, break them, and crush them with anything in order to verify they are reliable. These are the lessons of the Ukrainian operation. The Americans and others are very efficient in supplying electronic warfare systems, and they have worked very effectively against the communications equipment used by the Russians. Naturally, we have similar communications equipment, so we need to pay very serious attention to this. Americans and Western experts say that electronic warfare is an indispensable thing in the course of any operation. That is question number one, therefore, I ask you to pay special attention to this.”
The President also inquired in detail about the structure of the AGAT-Control Systems company. As the new head reported, the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding includes five enterprises, with AGAT-Control Systems being the parent company: the main developer of software and design documentation. Agat-Electromechanical Plant is a small-scale and serial enterprise for the production of products developed by AGAT-Control Systems enterprise.
Tekhnika Svyazi in the town of Baran is an enterprise that develops and implements communications equipment into production. The structure also includes enterprises that develop secure computers for equipping mobile and stationary control posts for law enforcement agencies, as well as the necessary documentation for creating communications equipment.
