Lukashenko instructed special services to give information to the public about Belarusians from ‘Kalinovsky regiment’ fighting in Ukraine

The President of Belarus instructed the special services to provide information to the public about the Belarusians from the ‘Kalinovsky regiment’ fighting in Ukraine. Speaking at a solemn meeting on the occasion of Independence Day, Aleksandr Lukashenko recalled that today in Ukraine some of our fugitives are fighting as part of the so-called ‘Kalinovsky regiment’.

“They are preparing to return and overthrow the regime here. They got there under fire from Russian artillery, and the battle began. They began to run away together with Ukrainians: several dozens of our fugitives and Ukrainians. Twenty people from the ‘Kalinovsky regiment’ stayed there. I am not happy about this, although these are not just opponents – these are enemies of the Belarusian state. They went from here to defend Ukraine, and most importantly, to prepare there in order to return and to fight here. We know who sent them there. Why today, speaking from the screens, they do not say that they threw people into hell, promising to pay them well, and these 20 people died? Who will answer to their parents? The question is rhetorical. I think our bloggers and journalists will sort this out, and let our special services give this information to our society,” noted the Belarusian leader.
