Lukashenko held working meeting with Kochanova
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has held today a working meeting with the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, Natalya Kochanova – as reported by BelTA with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
The sides discussed the Council of the Republic’s activities and work over draft laws.
Natalya Kochanova reported on the activity of the Expert Council under the Council of the Republic, informing that – when considering normative acts – a wide range of specialists are involved, and all documents are carefully reviewed and analysed by experts.
The work of the Council of the Republic with the population – which envisages meetings with individuals and labour collectives – was also discussed. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Natalya Kochanova focused on the results of the work of the public reception room at the Council of the Republic which collected proposals and comments from citizens on the draft Constitution.
