Lukashenko: EAEU is strong factor of stability in times of turbulence

Belarus’ Head of State, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the EAEU leaders on Eurasian Economic Union Day, the Belarusian President’s press service reports

“The decision to establish the Eurasian Economic Union – made in 2014 – became fateful for the member states. We can say with confidence that the Union has successfully passed the stage of formation, and it is now a significant international organisation whose authority at the global level is steadily increasing," the congratulatory message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that, in the current period of acute geopolitical and economic turbulence, commitment to Eurasian integration is a powerful factor of stability, economic growth and social stability. He expressed confidence that the EAEU countries will be able to fully realise the organisation’s potential by uniting efforts and actions in the spirit of alliance and solidarity.

The President of Belarus wished the leaders of the EAEU member states good health, happiness and realisation of all their goals.
