Lukashenko approved state investment programme for 2022

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has approved the 2022 state investment programme by his Decree No. 18 signed on January 26th – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

Taking into account the investment opportunities of the Republican budget, the programme envisages concentration of funds on the facilities which are being commissioned in 2022, and also on the transitional facilities that enjoy a high degree of construction readiness.

In 2022, financing of the construction of 157 facilities included into the programme will make Br695m; Br275m of the sum will focus on the production sector projects aimed at achieving a positive economic effect. Forty-eight facilities are planned to be put into operation this year.

In line with the document, financing of the construction (reconstruction) of eighteen facilities will be launched. These include a vaccine production plant in the village of Dolzha, Vitebsk Region, treatment facilities of the Minsk Leather Production Association, and infrastructure of checkpoints on the state border.
