Sergeyenko commented on where a monument to national unity should be located

The future monument to national unity should be located in the centre of Minsk – as noted by the Head of the Belarus President Administration, Igor Sergeyenko, before the sixth meeting of the Republican Council for Historical Policy under the President Administration held at the National Academy of Sciences

Answering a question from journalists about the monument of national unity, Mr. Sergeyenko said that there are already some ideas for its creation, “We need to discuss this issue in detail. I would not like to initiate a wide discussion of it ahead of time, because we need to identify a group of specialists. Clearly, it [the monument] should be located in the central part of our city and embody the unity of our people.”
